The Chroni-WHAT-cles of Narnia
So, I'm new here! *waves* I know it's sort of dead here....last post was July 27th, so that's only about 3 months, which isn't TOO terrible. I'm quite impressed with the love and care you guys have for this pairing! <3 I'm appalled with the number of people who hate this movie, though I guess I can understand why the hardcore book fans hate it so much....but even then, it was still completely amazing.
I've loved this couple ever since I saw the movie. I don't read the books, and quite frankly I don't intend to(although I do have a large book compilation of them sitting on my bookshelf) I tried to read them once in the 8th grade and found them stale compared to the movies so....I think I'll stick with the movies. Especially since Caspian and Susan have snagged my shipper heart so, and I can't bear to read about them in a world where there isn't even a romance between them. (also, blonde Caspian? NO WAY. >.<)
I happened to catch Chronicles of Narnia on tv yesterday and then proceeded to pull out my Prince Caspian DVD and for some reason, this 3rd time watching it, fell completely head over heels for these two...I mean, moreso than I already was! XD Me and my mom always complain at the end of the movie, that Susan should've stayed with Caspian(you don't kiss a sexy guy and then just leave him, I mean, COME ON.)
But anyway, I joined and kind of hope this place might perk up a bit with Dawn Treader on the way. I've been digging through all the old fanfics and graphics and they're all really wonderful. =-) I might be able to contribute a little fanart myself....not sure about fanfiction though. I feel like because I don't read the books, nor am I a fan of them, that I don't have much of a right to write fanfiction for the series.
