Total win. This is an excellent for your first Narnia piece and how cute was that ?? Oh my gosh. The beginning narration was a great set up for Caspian's attitude and the ending.

It's the flowers, Caspian. Trust in the flowers.

My favorite line has got to be: He wants to refuse her request, on a number of grounds, pure manliness being the most prominent.

I thought about that, but to me, it always seemed like Caspian was more shocked that his uncle was going to have him down right assassinated, just like that, not really that his uncle had it in for him. While he may not have originally been so paranoid, I think after all the shock he went through he certainly would have become so.
