Long Weekend!
Another week and another live journal entry!
It's the long weekend. Yay! I'm a little disappointed though. Me and Franco were supposed to derive down to New York, stay with his family and go shopping with his designer loving cousin (not that I could afford even a pair of shoes, lol). Unfortunately, Franco has to work at the pizzeria this weekend dispite our plans and the long weekend and the fact that he has a full time job.
Work was pretty good this week. I had been working on hundreds of LP 301s (just a type of circuit boards) forever but I asked my super and was able to look at something new. It was getting a little tedious. Tensions between me and the guy I was hired to replace but then came back weren't there this week. It was just kinda weird at first but it's cool now. I'm hoping to get 1 or 2 years at Telcom and then I can start applying for intermediate jobs that literally pay double the starting salary. It'll be sweet.
Enough about boring grown up things.
I'm going to feed Vinnie this weekend I think. He's been roaming around a lot lately and I'm not sure why. It usually means he's hungry but it might be his mating season or something. Too bad there it's a cute female vinnie and they could have cute little pythons. Hopefully they wouldn't eat them, lol.
I finally painted my room! It's awesome. I still have to touch up the trim but it's all good. Plus I got a bed! That's right, a bed! I bought it at Ikea which meant I had to put it together myself. It was easy but time consuming. Franco came and helped me so it wasn't bad. The mattress cost as much as the bed and dresser combined. It's really firm and awesome. I know I'm saying way too much about my bed but I've been sleeping on air matresses adn sofas forever. I feel like I'm in the Sims. I bought a new bed and gave my older, crappier bed to the other Sim (Amanda, hahaha).
Well, I'm off to get a shower and get dressed. I have to do laundry too.
