Hello people of LJ world. First of all I would like to humbly apologize for not making an entry in 2+ months. I could come up with excuses like "I was just to busy" and "I didn't have the time" but then I would be lying. And we all know how much lying sucks. Anyways... Onto other more important things.
Lets see.... I had a box of peanut Smarties today, and let me tell you they are tasty. Although they are basically a copy of the peanut M&Ms, and I noticed absolutley no difference in taste. Maybe a more experienced M&M eater would be able to tell the difference. Who knows? I'm just speculating.
In other news, earlier in the summer I went over to Henry and Cheyennes to help them make buttons one night, and we worked on them for about 4 hours. Everything was fine and dandy... we watched lots of quality tv shows like "America's got talent" and "Canda's next top model" but the next morning when I woke up I had no feeling in my thumb from all that button work. I figured it would go away in a day or two... but when I still couldn't feel it two weeks later my parents and I decided it was time to go to the doctor. Turns out I'd damaged some nerves and now my thumb will never completley have all the feeling in the tip.
In other wonderful news.... I solved the rubics cube! I did it while at work at the tennis club the other day. I litterally worked on it for six and a half hours straight. It was quite exhilarating when i'd realized that the whole thing was complete. It was a little unreal. I noticed that on side had been completed, then another, and then it hit me... I did it! It was awesome. Now It's in my plan to be pro and learn how to do it really fast.
Lastly, About a month ago I started working at Sobeys. I work in the deli, so obviously I cut meat. I like it quite a bit especially because I get to try all these weird kinds of meats I've never tried before. Some personal favourites of mine are Genoa Salami, Dark Garlic Roast Turkey Breast, Gypsi Salami, Salsa Salami, and of course, Pastromi. :) At the deli I am allowed to try any meats I want so that when customers ask about the meat I can be knowledgable and tell them whats its like. It's a nice perk. :p
Anyways, I think that i'm off for tonight, I'll have to find a new book to read. I just finished "Cats Eye" by Margaret Atwood which is truly a wonderful book, and I highly recommend it. until next time,
