Soundtrack to Life

I got an E-Mail today asking me that if i could only choose 10 songs to listen to for the rest of my life, what would they be and why?

So

Having spent ages thinking about them i thought i'd share them and see if anyone else fancied sharin theirs.

1) You And Me Song - Wannadies.
This song reminds me of my last year in High School. My Best mate and I were UTTERLY inseprable and this song totally reminds me of her. And i'm going to be a Bridesmaid for her in 2 years time

2) End Of The World As We Know It - REM
This song brings back memories of one of THE best nights of my life, but best for the oddest reasons. Picture the scene, i'm in a field in Belgium, i've lost the 3 friends that came with me, its bucketing it down with rain, i can't remember where i pitched my tent and i'm too p*ssed to speak. However, i find myself being "adopted" by a german bloke and a french woman, huddling under a coat, watching Michael Stipe and REM live on stage whilst amazing lightening bolts criss cross the sky. absolutely fabulous!

3) Free Bird - Lynryd Skynrd
Most commonly recognised as one of the songs from Forrest Gump, this song i love mainly because of the words, "I’m as free as a bird now, And this bird you cannot change" and because the full live version just is one of the best tunes to play loud and p*ss my neighbours off.

4) Under The Bridge - RHCP
Just a great sing along song, and reminds me of being at college, sat in the common room with my mates. A far cry from being at work everyday.

5) Lithium - Nirvana
Was the only song i could ever really play on my guitar along with "Smells Like Teen Spirit". Back in the days when i had time and nails short enough to play it.

6) Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen.
Not only part of the Funniest bit in Waynes World one, but also of a great trip to London with School. We had been taken to the British Museum (smelly place full of books and Mummified stuff) and we thought it'd be hilarious to stand in the echoy-ist part of the building and sing this song at the top of our voices!! We all got thrown out

7) Clocks - Coldplay
Reminds me of my bro (who is in the army) and also reminds me of bein in the Dominican, they used to play it in one of the resturaunts and it was used ALL THE TIME on tv ads

8) With or Without You - U2
Spent many a teenage night on my bed cryin to this song (a long story) but reminds me of an ex, still a beautiful song.

9) Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life) - GreenDay
Another summer, another live gig, Lancashire Cricket Ground fantastic day! Top song "It’s not a question,But a lesson learned in time,It’s something unpredictable, But in the end is right, I hope you had the time of your life" yay makes me smile

10) Let Me Cry - Ashlee Simpson
Strangely enough from the soundtrack of Freaky Friday, a brilliant song that just gets me to a Tee
