* Also this weekend in Berlin: the Carnival of Cultures! I love it, it's so much fun. In 2009, 1.45 million visitors celebrated at the street festival and the parade. About 4.700 professional and non-professional performers of all age groups took part in the parade on Whitsunday, accompanied by 100 colourfully decorated floats. 900 artists performed during the four-day street festival. The Carnival of Cultures is open to everybody and all forms of cultural expression. It is regarded as a platform for a proud expression of hybrid cultural identities, containing traditional and contemporary elements.
* More greatness (I hope) on Sunday with the LOST series finale, yayz! I've been a fan of this show for five years, and though I think the current season lacks the inspiration I loved about the earlier seasons, I'm pretty excited and hope they manage to wrap the show up satisfyingly. \o?
