Samurai and Confucian Virtues

I have long since been a BIG fan of the anime Ronin Warriors/Samurai Troopers, which introduced me to Samurai and Confucian virtues. I wrote a friend of mine, a fellow-fan, and compared Tom Price to Anubis/Shuten. They both started on the side of evil and moved to the side of good, although Tom doesn't have any redemptive remorse. However, Tom also has a strong loyal side. Loyalty seems to be Tom's central motivation in everything he does in the series, and it was the guiding virtue of Anubis/Shuten when he switched over the side of good.

In the last episode, Abby came across as someone strongly guided by Virtue or Jin. The concepts are easier to understand than translate into single words. This realization made me think about the others. Greg easily came across as Justice. Then, I began to seriously wonder about Al and Anya. After a while, I figured Anya must be Wisdom because she has all the medical knowledge.

This leaves Al. I cannot seem to figure out what his guiding virtue would be. The remaining virtues are Respect/Grace/Courtesy, Trust, Obedience, Endurance, and Filial Piety (Respect for Elders). What do you think Al's guiding virtue would be?

The Respect/Grace/Courtesy might be misleading. The word is Rei, and I read that it could be translated as relative morality or morals based on society. Abby's Virtue is Jin, which is absolute morality or morals based upon natural law. It is pretty nifty that Shinto states we can have both.
