Donna's Jury Questions!

Feb 25, 2012 08:02

Congrats Ben and Bryan! Good job making the Final 2. Bryan you were the underdog and without winning immunity and using your idol you would have been voted out. Ben you had a good alliance that got you to the Finals. Without the help of Drew, Jamie and KJ, you may have not made the Finals ( Read more... )

Firstly, why do you say you weren't included in the alliance? You WERE included in the alliance. I would ike you to explain to me how you weren't included, because we organised votes with you, we explained what was happening with you and discussed plans with you. I even made sure I approached you after we had voted you out at the merge to see if you wanted to come back and work with us, because I owed you for what had happened. So you WERE included in the alliance. In regards to your vote out, we were covering our bases with the play of an idol and in that case you were expendable. You were similar to KJ in the fact that you would've easily won this game had you been in the final 2, and in my mind even more so as you had ruffled no feathers at all and would've easily had a good run at the vote. At that stage we were still with KJ and wanted to make sure she was saved, same with Jamie, so yes, in that situation you unfortunately expendable. It was down to you being a threat yes, and it was also down to the fact that I hadn't made any form of 100% agreements with you for a final 4. I had a final 4 agreement at the time with Drew, Jamie and KJ which obviously changed after the next vote, but at that time, that's how it worked. The plan was discussed by Drew and myself to cover our bases in the case of Bryan having the idol (to which KJ then claimed responsibility for) and that meant it was your time to go. I tried to catch you online to tell you what was happening before the vote but you weren't online at that stage, and that's why then I made sure after the vote to catch you online when we had the discussion about the vote.

And in regards to Bryan's comment, I have to call bullshit on that one. At seven, we had a 5-2 numbers advantage, so therefore one person coming to Bryan wouldn't have made a difference. If Bryan really 'knows how to play the game like he does' then he would know that any odd number of people is the time to 'make a big move'. They had 4 people, we had 5. At the 9 point of the merge, go for the move then. It's a comfort factor that Bryan had with his alliance that made them just assume that they would be safe, and when they realised we had more in the numbers, it was way too late. So any move made at the final 7 wouldn't have made any difference.

No, she wouldn't have. Donna will never win a game in which I am a jury member. You think KJ is bitter right now? Imagine Donna at that point ten-fold. We're talking bitterness on a level which will affect any game she's in for years to come.

Sorry Mark, but you only have one vote, not 7. You clearly have an opinion on it, as do I. And I have answered my question directed at me by Donna

Ben, I told you I had "haters"...lol! I'm really hurt that you said you wish you had saved Andii and not voted her out, so you could take her to the Final 4 instead of me. Yes, you did mention that I was in the alliance of Final 5. But we never discussed anything further. I was figured I would got further than Jamie and KJ, since they were bigger threats in being liked by the jury more and KJ was much better at challenges than me.

Well I guess we should form our own 'haters' club eh Donna? Becuse it's almost something that we should be standing proud for I think!

No, we didn't discuss any further. You are right there. I guess that honestly you weren't in any plans from final 5 onwards as yeah, I did honestly think you could win the game based on your gameplay. That's the truth, and that's how it went down. I'm happy to answer/address anything further if you have it too

You're right. I'm 1 vote. But if Donna was in the final two, I'd campaign hard to keep the other jurors from voting for her. I played a game with her, put myself at risk more than once to keep her safe, and when the time came that I finally had to vote against her (about the same point you put out KJ), she was a million times more vicious than KJ is being right now.

I mean, what I'm saying has no bearing on the game right now or the final votes. I was just pointing out to you that Donna isn't as well liked as you think she is. I wish it WAS you and Donna in the final two so that I could have voted for you without hesitation :/

You've said a few times that certain people would have been in the final two for sure if they hadn't been voted out, and with every name, I shake my head because I wouldn't have voted for any of them. I like your gameplay, and you were as good as you said you were, but at the same time, your game play took out anyone that would have ensured that I would vote for YOU to win...

Again though Mark, you still only have 1 vote, and sure you can campaign against a person as much as you want, but that doesn't guarantee that they would listen. You have your opinion on Donna, as do I. The same as you have an opinion on Bryan, KJ and any other person in this game, and I do too.

And well then if that means I lose your vote, it means I lose your vote. The cards have been stacked up against me in this final 2 and really by losing that final immunity challenge and the ones before it, I lost a large proportion of say in who would be sitting next to me. However, I stand by my game, I have no regrets for the way I played and I have no hesitation in saying why I deserve this win 100x more than Bryan. But in the end, my statement on my gameplay amounts to nothing if I don't get the votes

When there were nine people left I was still under the impression that KJ was with us do why would I need to make a move when I thought I had the majority? Nice try at making me look dumb. Just another Benfail.

It's not a case of 'trying' to make you look dumb, it's a case of actually calling you out on what you said. There is a difference. And by saying "i thought I had the majority" backs my point up about you cruising through assuming you had the numbers. Whether or not you assumed you had KJ on board or not is not the point, it's a case of odd vs even when it comes to making moves. Even when I knew I had the numbers, I would still touch the waters with someone like Maggie to see how they were standing in the game to see if there was any potential of a flip or siding with us. There is no 'waiting around' for a certain point, the game never stops and neither should your gameplay.
