Welcome, Survivors.
Tonight, tribal immunity is once again up for grabs.
Before we get started we have many things to go over. First, if you haven't already noticed - Sean became the first person to be voted out of Survivor: Gobi Desert. Upon his exit he was handed two scrolls. Sean was told that that the first scroll contained a postive and the second scroll contained a negative. There were a few conditions to this pair:
The positive scroll could be handed to just one person left in the game.
Which ever person received the positive scroll, their tribe received the negative scroll.
The positive scroll remains the same throughout the game: a chance to "dig" for a hidden immunity idol but, the negative scroll changes before the following immunity challenge.
This time, Sean handed the positive scroll to Mark, subsequently passing the negative scroll to Kunlun.Only Mark knows if he found something or not in his dig for hidden immunity. As we all found out earlier in Tree Mail, Kunlun was required to sit out an additional person per the negative scroll's orders. Will this hurt their chances at winning immunity? Only time will tell...
Kunlun's tribe has decided to sit out - JAMIE & ROBIN
Pamris tribe has decided to sit out - TOM
This immunity challenge will test your speed and endurance as a team. Starting at 9PM EST, there will be four points up for grabs every hour for 24 hours.
Points will be available at:
:00
:15
:30
:45
When it is one of those available times you will post the following: [your tribe's name] takes the point.
There are some pretty detailed rules surrounding this challenge. They are as follows:
1.Only the first tribe to comment at an available time will receive a point for their tribe.
2.Only one person from each tribe may comment at an available time. If two, three, or more people from a tribe comment at an available time their submission will become void and they will not be eligible to win a point for their tribe in that time slot (even if they are the only tribe to comment).
3.You must post exactly at one of those times to take a point. A minute too soon or too late and you will have missed your mark.
4.No comments should be deleted or modified once submitted for any reason. Watch the clock closely, once you've clicked reply there is no turning back.
5.One person from a tribe cannot post every 15 minutes. You will be limited to 30 minute intervals between each posting. For example, if Rob from Sayan were to post at the :15 minute mark, he would not be able to comment again until the :45 minute mark. This is to prevent one person from the tribe completing the challenge on their own. This is a team challenge.
6.Comments will remain screened the entire challenge. At no point will any tribe have any idea who has commented or which tribe is in the lead. This is another rule where team work will be most important to you. If your team doesn't communicate when they are taking the point you could wind up losing the immunity.
Here are various examples of what would and would not be accepted in this challenge:
11:00 Sayan takes the point
11:00 Kunlun takes the point
11:00 Pamirs takes the point
Based off this thread, Sayan successfully took the point first and therefore receives 1 point for their tribe.
11:14 Sayan takes the point
11:15 Kunlun takes the point
11:15 Pamirs takes the point
Based off this thread, Sayan commented too early. Therefore, Kunlun commented correctly first and receives one point for their tribe.
11:30 Kunlun takes the point
11:30 Kunlun takes the point
11:30 Pamirs takes the point
11:30 Sayan takes the point
Based off this thread, two members from Kunlun commented which voids their submission. Pamirs properly comments at 11:30 and therefore scores 1 point for their tribe.
12:00 Sayan takes the point
.... nothing from Kunlun and Pamirs
Based off this threat, Sayan properly commented (and was the only one to do so) and therefore receives 1 point for their tribe.
To address Rule 5, here is what we would be looking for:
11:45 (ROB) Sayan takes the point
12:00 (BRAD) Sayan takes the point
12:15 (ROB) Sayan takes the point
12:30 nothing from Sayan
12:45 (ROB) Sayan takes the point
This would be an incorrect post based off Rule 5:
11:45 (ROB) Sayan takes the point
12:00 (ROB) Sayan takes the point
12:15 (ROB) Sayan takes the point
This challenge can begin at 9PM EST (any comments before 9PM to take a point will not count) and will continue until 9PM EST the following day. All comments are to occur within this post. You won't receive any warning from Ashley or myself when a point is available to grab. The times will always remain the same: :00, :15, :30. and :45.
The two tribes with the most points at the end of the 24 hours will be safe from Tribal Council. Good luck, Survivors.
