TREE MAIL // 1st Challenge Information
As you noticed in the cast banner, 15 of you were chosen to participate in this season of Survivor. We also told you that there were no tribal lines drawn. This season the choice of tribes will depend on where your peers place you.
After this challenge your one tribe of 15 will be divided into 3 equal tribes of 5.
The tribes are:
Sayan, which will wear orange.
Pamirs, which will wear brown.
Kunlun, which will wear red.

Now, the challenge...
Buried in our photobucket account are balls of different colors. One at a time we will "release" a ball and the first person to successfully "catch" the ball will win that round.
By "catching" the released ball you will be granted the ability to do two things, with one rule added:
- Choose THREE (3) people to take a seat in the tribes of your choice. (You may only place one person per tribe.)
- You will be able to continue on in the challenge. The three individuals that are chosen to take a seat in their new tribe will not be able to contiue on in the challenge.
- You may not place yourself in a tribe if you catch the ball.
Additionally, the person that "catches" the released ball will have just 5 minutes to decide where to place their fellow Survivors. We've set a time limit to keep the challenge flowing at a faster pace. After a Survivor has posted their decisions, Therese will give a 5 minute warning before the next ball drops.
This challenge will have FIVE (5) rounds. In the 5th and final round the person that catches the releaved ball will not only choose where to place the final survivors but also receive our first reward of the season. This reward will give you a great advantage in the first immunity challenge.
Tomorrow, Therese (bingaling4503) will make a challenge post. The entire challenge will occur within comments in that post. I've included an example within this post as to what a "released" ball will look like and what a proper "catch" will look like.
A quick side note:
We realize we've posted this tree mail a full day and a half before the actual challenge but we wanted to give you guys a chance to ask any questions so that by the time 9PM tomorrow comes around we will be ready to go. We are also aware that quite a few of your won't be able to make the challenge. We cannot stress enough that this is not an immunity challenge nor is the reward immunity related. Ultimately, you'll end up on a tribe regardless if you've participated or not. Now that everyone is aware of what the challenge is, those that are not going to be around tomorrow to participate can plan accordingly - put your trust in a few individuals to place you on a tribe you may benefit from OR let the pieces fall naturally and not worry about it.
ETA - We fibbed, the reward is immunity related. It will give your tribe a great advantage in the first immunity challenge. We originally meant that it is not immunity related in the sense that it's not a clue to an HI or an individual immunity. Winning this tribal challenge will give your tribe a HUGE advantage in the upcoming immunity challenge.
