Welcome to the Mediterranean Sea, waters clear as crystal and rich with history. It is here that, centuries ago, the Greeks rose as one of the greatest civilizations of all time. Masters of technology, philosophy, and mathematics, the Greeks created a massive empire that spanned vast regions of land and survived hundreds of years. Today, 24 Americans are stranded on a small Greek island chain, the Cyclades, just south of the mainland. Together, they must struggle to survive the elements of the sea and the land, while competing against each other in challenges. In the end, only one will outwit, outplay, and outlast all the others to become sole survivor of the Greek Isles. Who that person will be is up to you. Welcome to Interative Survivor: Greek Isles!
There, now that that blurb is over, I can begin to talk normally again. Hello, everyone! Jeff Probst here, your Interactive Survivor host! I'll be narrating the story to you, and asking you different questions about the three characters whose fate you will be controlling, Alex, Adele, and Andrew. Before we begin, though, I'll tell you a little about how this is going to work. While the challenges and many of the camp activities will be out of your control, most of the strategic decisions your three players will make throughout the game will be made by you, the readers. However, you might not always know all the details. Anytime I describe the game to you, I'll only inform you of that which I believe the three players you control also know. So while I might tell you that so-and-so talked to Adele, that person might be lying. However, if you have any questions, write to me through a response post, and if I can answer it, I will. As long as one of Alex, Adele, or Andrew wins, you will have won the game. However, you do not necessarily have to follow all three characters. If you wish to just follow the course of one or two players, feel free. I'll judge how the players will react in a situation based on the majority of the responses.
All right. Now that I've explained what's going on, let's get this started. I guess a good place to start is to introduce the players. There are 24 of them, organized into three tribes -- Corinth Tribe, Delphi Tribe, and Mycenae Tribe. Each of the tribes is named after one of the city-states that made up ancient Greece. And being as the city-states fought with each other throughout their existence, this makes perfect sense. Anyway, I'll give a brief introduction to the players. I'll go into detail about the three you control, but as for the others, I won't tell you much. You'll learn alot about the different personalities and such as you play the game. See you at the next post!
