I decided to shake things up. Yes, Brad has been officially killed. Feel free to tag this if you want to do the aftermath, however Nicholai is long gone with the helicopter.
Oh, there's nothing to apologize for, and I'm sorry if I came off as brusque. I just woke up from a nap.
I just think that could be the start of a big arc, and almost everyone would have a reaction to it, but so many of us have got RL fastened onto our heads right now...
Also, rereading the post about Brad's death, what was Brad doing standing outside the New York apartments with the assault helicopter? Shouldn't he have been at STARS headquarters with that?
Now don't take this as me being an asshole. I'm not trying to be, not at all, but no one told me the helicopter had been moved. There was never even a test on it. So, I was in the dark there, and I'm really sorry, but I don't feel like writing it over. It's a pretty long segment, considering. So, yeah. If it has to be rewritten, I don't know. I'll just NexusLOL it, I guess. I just don't have the energy to rewrite it. I've done a lot of that lately.
Second of all, I don't see why the Brad thing is a big issue. No one really reacted with him; he was like a backdrop and an extra character that really didn't get much attention anyway. I don't see a big uproar being produced after this and I would really like to do something with my RE boys here because, for about a month, things have been dead. People don't have to join if they don't want to; I don't mind. This was purely to get the ball going.
Again, this is not to be taken as an attack or as rawr, I'm just giving in my two cents. I hope I won't be hated because of it.
The helicopter would've had to have been moved. For one thing, the New York apartments are in the middle of a residential neighborhood in Brooklyn. There's nowhere legal to land the helicopter, let alone keep it.
Also, Eiko moved the helicopter away after it was taken from Reno and Elena. Since the STARS are now officially headquartered in Arizona, one would assume the helicopter's there.
Of course, if I'm on crack and this is a wholly different helicopter, I could be mistaken.
Even though nobody ever reacted much to Brad, it was at least partially because you never really used him in scenes. Also, somebody assassinating him would be something that nobody could really ignore, regardless of their feelings on him. He'd joined STARS. You don't let people just walk up and kill members of your organization.
See, I didn't know about that. No one ever told me that and I don't have Eiko friended on any of my journals. It would have been good to give a heads up, but it's cool. My fault there.
Well, considering we had a Tyrant dropped on the apartments too, y'know, I figured there was a little stretch of reality.
Well, no, but I didn't really think it would be a huge arch. It can be, not complaining about that, but I figured it would just be like, "HO SHIT; they're in our base, killing our dudes." Kind of like how Team Good went on Blowing Up Bases rampages and what have you.
This would be a big deal, plotwise, and I don't think many of us have the time to give it the attention it deserves.

And no, I just was apologizing for launching into it without thinking. Oh, el oh el, brains.
