[Gem has gone to speak with Tron. Tron is the only one who might understand why she would be struggling with what happened, her processors trying to pare up the conflicts in her data. I've...never had a mother, either.

[A Creator, yes. But one who abandoned her.]

I'm glad I've done a...good job of it.

My programming is to take care of fellow Programs. Perhaps that is where it comes from.

I don't mind if you want me to still...serve that purpose, for you.

[It actually warms her circuits to know he sees her as a mother. Perhaps she has done something right. But she feels awkward, worried she can't live up to what she was the past week.]
