After the last film based on an Alan Moore book, I was hesitant to see V for Vendetta, but it gets my approval, in spite of Natalie Portman and her lips. I might quibble with a couple of points, but on the whole, I thought they did a great job with a story which has become, frighteningly, more and more relevant. Even though I didn't read it until later in life, this story always makes me nostalgic for high school, and I really hope that in spite of its R rating it will still find a strong high-school-age audience -- that seems to me to be where it belongs (and that's something for which I admire it, by the way).
