Hair emergency
After years of looking for a hair stylist I like and trust, I finally found one last year. At my first appointment, she spent like 45 minutes talking with me about what I wanted (I have severe anxiety about getting my hair cut because I've had so many bad experiences), and after the cut, I did not cry. So for the first time in years, I actually went back to get my hair done by the same stylist.
Monday is my graduation ceremony, so yesterday, I booked an appointment with this stylist for Sunday. A few minutes ago I got a call from the salon telling me that this stylist is leaving, and that her last day is tomorrow.
Of course they asked if I wanted to see another stylist, but I don't want to take my chances with someone I don't know and trust right before the biggest day of my life and risk a shitty hair cut. Fortunately they were able to book me in for an appointment with the stylist tomorrow at 12:15pm, so hopefully my hair still looks alright by Monday...
Seriously universe, can't I get a fucking break?!
Edit, May 25th: I had my hair appointment today, and thankfully she is just moving to another salon in the city. If anyone in the Vancouver area is looking for a good stylist, let me know!
