This morning I caught the 8:52am bus again and was talking to the friendly female bus driver. She said that she had asked around the bus depot to figure out who the hot bus driver was, but she wasn't able to find out.
Well, tomorrow is the day, and I'm freaked out. There's no logical reason to be so nervous, but I can't help it; I can't flirt, and I don't have experience with dating. If I ask the guy out, it will be the first time I have ever gone up to a guy and asked him out, and this terrifies me. I realize that I need to get over my fear and just ask him out, but easier said than done. The problem is, I have no idea what to say! The best thing to do is to engage him in friendly conversation, and then drop the bombshell, but for the life of me, I can't think of anything! Hopefully some crazy person comes on the bus and makes a scene, and then I can start a conversation about that. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to start a conversation with the bus driver, without seeming totally obvious?
