On Saturday I was bored and feeling depressed, so I made the mistake of reactivating my OK Cupid account. After about 10 minutes I was ready bored with OKC, but OKC has a stupid policy where you must wait a period of one week to deactivate your account if you have just reactivated it. Guys on dating sites are almost ALWAYS terrible. There is so few good ones. Serious. I met some rad friends on POF but no one worth dating, except one girl :)

Luckily the stupid waiting period was over so I was able to deactivate my profile after I wrote this entry.

I don't want to meet friends on those sites. I have plenty of friends, and I seem to make a few more friends every year, whether at school, online (LJ), or elsewhere. Is it unreasonable to want to be more than "just friends" with another human being?! ARGH ARGH ARGH!

I have plenty of friends. Yet out of all my friends, not one knows of anyone who's available to date (and is someone I would get along with), or is willing to set me up. Ugh.

I've never wanted my friends to set me up - any time someone said they knew someone they thought I would find attractive, epic fail. Never once. I prefer to meet people the old fashioned way now.

Old fashioned way...before internet. Through work, friends, school, hobbies, parties, clubs. I dunno - by chance!

I don't do the club thing, but nothing else works. Work, school, friends, hobbies, parties, and chance--nothing. Absolutely NOTHING.
