This afternoon when Dave got home from school, he found a note from management taped to his door, asking him to change the cat litter, because it was stinking up the hallway. WTF?!?! Dave and I were so pissed off, for several reasons.

First, taping a note like that on the front door, for everyone to see, is totally inappropriate. Either slip it under the door, or at the very least, put it in an envelope or fold it up so that no one else can read it. Leaving a note like that for anyone to see is humiliating.

Second, the accusation that the cat litter is stinking up the hallway is complete bullshit. There is absolutely no way that anyone could smell the cat litter in the hallway, as we keep the litter box on the balcony! Because we keep it on the balcony, you can't even smell it in our suite, let alone in the hallway! So even when Dave does neglect the cat litter, you can't smell it. And right now, it's not extremely dirty anyway. And funny that now, just days after Dave tidied up his place, when it's cleaner than it has been since he moved in, we're accused of being dirty and smelly.

Yes, the hallway does stink, but it does not smell like cat litter! It fucking reeks of cigarettes, pot, and who knows what else (I have no idea what smoking crack smells like). How about management do something about that? Or about people who blast their music or who let their fucking dogs run around without a leash? Or make sure that the washers and dryers work. Try managing the building, instead of accusing innocent people of not cleaning the cat litter! And if you make public accusations, make damn well sure that what you are accusing the person of is plausible! Seriously, WTF? This building is "run" be fucking morons!
