So this morning was the first day of school, and Dave and I had calculus first thing in the morning at 8:30am, which was painful. Apparently, a new edition of the text book has just come out, which is so annoying, because Dave and I have the old edition (we're sharing, of course), and we will both have to take calculus II next term, which uses the same text as calculus I. Our teacher said that they have combined some chapters in the new text, and added a few extra questions at the end of each section. She gave us homework questions that correspond to the new text, but said that she will also post the homework questions that correspond to the old text, so that we know which section to do. New editions of text books are a student's bane!

I ran into my hot pre-calc teacher, and we were chatting for a bit. This term he is not teaching any calculus or pre-calc, and it seems as if they have given him the miscellaneous math courses to teach. One of the courses he is teaching is MATH 1234 Mathematics for Liberal Arts. Someone has a sense of humor! *giggles*
