Bionicles (read this photonduality)

That woman from Chilliwack who was on Jeopardy yesterday lost today. Going into Final Jeopardy, she had $8200, and the other contestants (both women) had $13,900 and $5000. She also didn't get the Final Jeopardy question correct (she didn't have an answer), but the other two contestant did (and so did I).

The Final Jeopardy category was European Fiction and the question answer was: This 1915 story says "his numerous legs, which were pitifully thin...waved helplessly before his eyes."

The Metamorphosis

Also on tonight's episode of Jeopardy was a question which basically asked what the alternative name for the island of Rapa Nui is. When I first heard the name Rapa Nui, I immediately thought, "That sounds like a name of a Bionicle!"

Oh, no wonder why Bionicles have names that sound similar to the name Rapa Nui. That's quite fascinating, especially as I used to work in a toy store and love languages. Too bad I didn't know about this when I was at the toy store-the names of all the Bionicles would have made sense, and I would have been able to impress the adults with my knowledge of which colored Bionicle was which name.
