Had a nice night
I had a very nice dinner with Master tonight. We went to Longhorn and ate way too much. I wish Anna had been home so she could have gone with us. I had a nice time but I did miss my Anna. We had the Wild West Shrimp appetizer. We had a loaf of thier wonderful bread and salads. I had the ceasar and Master had a garden salad with ranch. They have the most awesome crutons ever. Master ordered a big ole' honkin' ribeye cooked medium and I ordered a top sirloin with extra 7 pepper dust. He has a sweet potato with all the fixin's and I had mashed taters. Master ordered a side of thier BBQ ribs as we had been wanting to try them. They were so tender and delicious. Needless to say we have leftovers. Anna will like them!!!!
After dinner Master and I did a little bit of Christmas shopping. When I say little bit, I mean in and out of 3 places in under 30 minutes. After that we went for a long drive in search of a Christmas tree farm. The place we have bought our tree at for the last ten years moved. It took us many miles and lots of driving to find the new location but we found them. They were closed but we were able to see that trees are cheaper this year than in years gone by. We plan to have a family outing in the morning and go pick our tree and bring it home. We only have one childcare kiddo and we will just take him with us. It should be some nice family time; which if I may add we do not get enough of with real life and work schedules.
We came home and took a few minutes to unload the car then came inside to relax for a bit. Now, we are just waiting on our Anna to be home with us where she belongs. Annas schedule changes in a few days and she will be working mornings. She will have afternoons and evenings with us now. She will be off Fridays and Saturdays too!!! I am glad. I hate it when she is gone all evening!!! So, it seems as if recent developments in our lives mean we are going to have to join normal society in sleeping nights and being up in the morning. It is a very strange concept and I am thinking it is going to take some time for us nocturnal creatures to adapt!!! I think we can make it work and may find that life is more convenient this way. Now, we just have to train our friends and family to call and visit during regular person hours instead of the wee hours of the morning!!!
We plan to get our Christmas tree up and the house and yard decorated this weekend. Now, I am just hoping for a white Christmas....
... before Christmas gets here... our Anniversary will arrive..... ten years together, 8 years married and still madly in love with this man. It is his and Annas anniversary too. She has now officially been with us forever. I look toward forevermore.
