Levitation Spell 017 // Things I Almost Remember, And A Song Someone Sings

Lately I've

There are issues that have been on my mind lately that I feel have put me in a more somber mood. This song is also not helping.

For those of you who can remember, and wouldn't mind sharing the information... what was your home like? When did you first start remembering and... did you want to?

random musical reference menagerie, event: theme song, moody west is also moody, memories all alone in the moonlight!

Got a sad song, did you?

I don't remember what my home is like, and I don't care to. Besides that, I don't think you've much of a choice either which way, from all these memory crystal stories I've been hearing. Why bother worrying about the inevitable?

You use the word "inevitable". I find that depressing.

Why's that? Would you rather see it as a fact that you may or may not receive memories and live each day in limbo?

I would rather feel I had a choice in deciding who I was and what I want my life to be, at least. It might only be because I have few memories of home compared to others, but I like who I am now. In a way, the idea of remembering things from a life that isn't the one I have now seems almost controlling.

What you want your life to be, sure, but you can't exactly decide what your life before was like. I believe that's what one may call delusion.

So, you'd rather just not know about who you were at all?

[pen taps]

It's more I'm just not sure. "My life before" doesn't quite feel like my life.
