i'm feeling much older.
my band just got an offer from an indie label based in Atlanta. basically they'd advance us $100k to record an LP this summer, buy us a van, and pay for our hotel rooms and other expenses on the road. pretty sweet deal, but we really need to talk this one over. i'm in no rush to sign anything and i'd rather hold off on signing in order to get more songs finished and more offers to compare it to. but still, for an initial offer, this one isn't bad at all. one of my new favorite artists is on this label, Ashton Allen, and it's not a bad thing; reminds me too much of Brash Music though and that's kind of scary...
