Today I woke up around 2p. Went to work to cover part of a shift for one of the other kids. She was supposed to come in around 6p and I was supposed to have the rest of the night off, but she called in sick and so I worked up until 9p. I got off and went and finished Aajay's food at La Parilla and then him, Amelia, and I went back up to Atlanta. They came over and hung out for a bit. I'm such a bad host, whenever people are at my dorm, I usually just put on music and people just sit around awkwardly, but what can you do when you just have a tiny tiny room with just a tv, two beds, and a desk? They left and Matt came over. We went outside, had some Lucky Strikes, and just talked about stuff. It's so chill hanging out with him, I love it. It's become almost routine for him to come over, listen to some music, sit outside and smoke and just talk about life and the future.
I was really surprised by one of my grades. I scored a B in my Latin American Politics class and I thought I was borderline failing it. Kirk said he was really lenient with the grades and if he thought you tried he gave you what he thought you deserved. I got a 90 on my final paper so I guess I deserved a B since I totally bombed most of the quizzes and got C's on the tests... I even e-mailed him and was like "Thanks, but I don't deserve that grade." I wouldn't be upset if he changed it, so I guess it doesn't matter.
I've been writing new songs a lot. It's soothing.
I have to be at work in an hour and a half and I haven't been to sleep yet!
