I've long thought about how I wished I had an... overflow community where I could post more Rookie Blue stuff, instead of always posting to my LJ. I mean, you know, I appreciate that anyone watching and NOT filtering me out probably understands my glee and that I'll post a lot about my fannish obsession of the moment. But also, I have a lot of stuff I like (tv, writing, cooking, blah, blah) and I want to post about ALL of it. And sometimes there is just too much stuff in my brain. And I could post all RB stuff to a filter for the small number of RB fans on my flist, but then other fans wouldn't know how to find us or join in.
So, plastichangers said she'd felt the same way, and we created a new community. Then catteo was all: "I'M IN, DUDES." And we made this:

A place where we can be silly and post all the things that might annoy our non-obsessed flist at large. By all means, keep posting to your own LJ, but when you feel like, seriously, you're about to be defriended by half your flist if you post one more thing about SAM'S FAAAACE, then take it here!
I sort of expect that it will mostly be this circle of fans we already know, but everyone is welcome! As long as you can tolerate the fact that it will be ridiculously Sam/Andy-focused. I originally pictured a CAPSLOCK or LULZ community, because we have elements of those already in our little fannish circle. But this comm can be whatever we make it. It will evolve through all of us into what it is.
And we just want it to be fun!
