Geology starts in fifty minutes. We have a quiz about the Geologic time scale. Let's see, without looking:

Precambrian - Archean and Proterozoic
Phanerozoic -
Cambrian, Ordovician, Silurian, Devonian, Carboniferous (Mississippian and Pennsylvanian,) Permian, Triassic, Jurassic, Cretaceous, Paleogene, Neogene, Quaternary -
Paleocene, Eocene, Oligocene, Miocene, Pliocene, Pleistocene, and Holocene.

And that's it. That's all I need to know, I think. This should be easy, I hope.

The Chem quiz I have right after it will be the real bitch.

ETA: The Geo quiz was an unparalleled success. The Chemistry quiz was an unmitigated disaster. So everything works out. I'm just glad that it's all done and over with for this week. Tonight I am spending the night with Rom again, enjoying a final ~14 hours with him before he leaves. Probably at the same level of our usual excellence. I'll miss him next week, but as my mother would say absence makes the heart grow fonder or some stupid shit like that and I'd say, sure, okay mom, because she always has something like that to say and it doesn't make me feel better, usually.

You know, moms.

So I have pretty much officially given up on finding roommates. I'm just going to request being in this building next semester and pray for the best. The final blow came this afternoon when I spent some time with the girl I wanted to move in with the most. I am still in a bit of a funk from this cold, and she's sick too, and we were in the computer lab wasting time. I wasn't paying attention to what she was doing, and she clapped my shoulder, then pulled me over to her monitor. It wasn't anything of consequence but I wasn't in the mood. I whined and shut down for a bit, then felt better and was joking around, but I don't know. I feel our personalities would clash with time. Better to stay friends living apart than to become enemies living together.

I'm tired, though.
