Entwined.

So, right off the bat, I have to say that I have a huge crush on Mark Strickson (Vislor Turlough) and no, I won't apologise for it.

Secondly, yes, I wrote more fanfic about him but no, it did not involve him and the Doctor, so you can rest easy. Its pretty crappy anyway, it has an OC without a name (as I am wont to do) and Tegan and the Doctor sound like an old married couple for some reason... and there's a fair amount of snogging. Because I'm such a fangirl.

Anyway.

Today was largely unexciting. I had two 2-hour long lectures back-to-back when I am used to only one lecture and one lab. The second lecture, Physics, was all about geocentric vs. heliocentric models of the solar system (setting up for Kepler's laws of motion) and I've covered it several times in the past, so I was quite bored. Thus the above described fanfiction.

Fortunately for me, this is the week before the musical, and so my Anne, who will have practice every day this week, was still there after I was done, so I spent an hour and a half with her in the ceramics studio. I finished carving the bark on my tree log piece about the same time that Alicia decided to show Bybee her cup she had just thrown on the wheel. That ended up with Bybee and I talking about my piece, Anne eventually joining us, and him showing us the rope he had made out of milkweeds.

The rope was pretty cool, actually. Heidi, another ceramics student, had showed him how earlier that day, and by the time I got there he had a length that was about as long as my forearm. Completely useless, of course, but we did a strength test and I won. Kind of awkward, we decided to stay seated, and we were both in rolly chairs. As my physics prof told us last week that when a body exerts a force on another, the second returns the force. We rolled toward each other, had to stomp on each other's feet to stop from toppling into each other's laps.

This may be a good point to say that I have this sizable crush on the guy, despite his being 46 years old.

I managed to pull the rope from his hands, he worked on it until it was about 6 inches long, I tied it around my ankle, but then the three of us got into a discussion about making beads and he demanded to have it back. I talked to the rope a few times, he threatened to destroy it, and Anne said that he looked like a hippy when he put it around his head, head-band style. But alas, he left and we had to make our own entertainment. Fortunately for me, Chelsea was out of class so we left.

The best part though, was the growing intrigue around who wrote "I <3 U Sexually" on the bottom of Bybee's bowl while it was still drying. It was last week when the message appeared, and there are four people who could do it. Of those four people, all four know who wrote it, but he doesn't. We even talking him into suspecting Heidi (the rope woman) of sabotage. It's awesome.

I love my community college.

controversy: i has it, real world, school is teh awesome, bybee is teh awesome, anne louise
