I feel that every once in a while, something happens to strike me profoundly. These things serve to remind me of life's brevity, and also to cultivate more bravery within me. These are the things in life that nobody ever wants to have happen, but they happen nonetheless and are beyond our control. Sometimes they make us feel like we have no control over anything. But other times, when we truly realize what life means, we begin to fully feel how much we actually do have control over. Happiness is rarely ever so far away, and it is often just up to us to look up and see how near it is and how little effort it will actually take for us to capture it. Our problem is often that "we never see things changing/ we only see them ending." What we need to know is that change means a beginning. And when have things more promise than when they begin? I love you all, and that will never change. I will die one day, perhaps before you do. And I need you to know that even then the love that you set in motion in me will continue. For more in the same vein, listen to Led Zeppelin's "Thank You."
