First day

Okay, so I'm still at work right now at school~ It's been a pretty slow three and a half hours so far. I've given out about 20 book vouchers at the most. The rest of the time was spent chatting with another girl who was in my philosophy class back in 2005. We started at the same time, and she's attending UCLA this fall. I also left to go into the bookstore and get a drink. I couldn't use the vending machines cause I had no cash on me. I spent almost half an hour waiting in line to buy a friggin soda. It's so busy, since everyone's getting their books. I've also just been txting Carson and playing games on the computer and reading. It's pretty laidback here. It's kinda cool, but I feel like all this sitting around doing nothing is going to get to me eventually. Tomorrow, I start classes. I was reading diepunyhuman's post about how school pumps her up, and I wish I got that pumped up. Unfortunately, the only class I would actually get pumped up about is French, and they're not offering French 5 or 6 this semester at any of the LACCD schools. :( However, I am still looking forward to classes after a long summer of working. I'm especially looking forward to my philosophy class, History of Modern European Philosophy. We're gonna be looking at Descartes and other philosophers that seem interesting to me. I would say that I should've become a philosophy major, but how would that ever be of any use?
