CSA Farm Share 2009: Weeks 6 & 7

Jul 26, 2009 11:18

One-third of the way into CSA season and I am still very happy with the share-split situation. I think Park and Red Fire both have a lot to offer and I love getting the best of both worlds. (Since people have asked, if I had to go back to only one or the other, it'd Parker.)

Week 6
  • 1/2 bunch spring onions
  • 1 head cauliflower
  • 1/2 bunch beets
  • 1 bunch red chard
  • 1 head romaine lettuce
  • 1 bunch yellow carrots
  • 1/2 bunch hakurei turnips
  • 1/2 pound green beans
  • 1/2 bunch fennel
  • 1/2 bunch baby leeks
    --
  • 1 lb picking cukes
  • 1 head red cabbage
  • 2 small summer squash
  • 1 oddly oblong white onion
  • 1/2 bunch beets
  • 1/2 head red oak lettuce
  • 1 tomato
    --
  • 1/2 pint blueberries
  • 1/4 pint raspberries

Week 7
  • 2 small heads romaine lettuce
  • 1/2 pound green beans
  • 2 heads cauliflower
  • 1 bunch spring onion
  • 1 yelllow squash
  • 1 good-sized (heheh) cucumber
  • 1/2 bunch mustard greens
  • 1/2 bunch chard
  • 1/2 bunch parsley
    --
  • 1/2 bunch kale
  • 1 lb cucumbers
  • 1 sprig basil
  • /4 lb yellow & green beans
  • 3 summer squash (1 zucchini, 2 yellow bulbous somethings)
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 lb potatoes
  • a few cloves garlic
  • 1/2 head lettuce
    --
  • 1/2 pint blueberries

I also still have garden lettuce heads up for trade.

And I'll be walking a marathon to raise money for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Even a few dollars helps.
