i watched an episode of "studio 60 on the sunset strip" this evening...and...
IT'S SO FREAKING GOOD!
seriously. here is a small tidbit from the episode.
::matthew perry, pissed off because of something that would take WAY too long to explain, has tackled bradley whitford to the sand on the beach at a show afterparty. brad then pins matt and they have a very short argument, then realize what they must look like::
matthew : are...are people looking at us?
brad : ...yeah, i think they are...
matthew : then would you mind punching me in the face, or something, because to the casual observer, this looks a little too homoerotic for my comfort.
brad : i feel you. what should we do?
matthew : get off of me.
::they both stand up and dust themselves off::
brad : ::without looking at matthew:: alright, play it cool.
::they walk back towards the party as though nothing has happened::
this show has captured my interest in a way that hasn't happened since "the west wing". which shouldn't surprise anyone, considering that both were written by aaron sorkin. who i love. and both have bradley whitford. who i also love. and from whom i have recieved boxers. (the boxers thing has nothing to do with anything, really. i just like saying that i have bradley whitford's boxers. because i do.)
