(no subject)
i finally bought my luggage that i will be using to go to italy. its
big and rolly and its black with little white polka dots! the inside
is... get this... shiny red silky type material! haha its hilariously
awesome.
ive been thinking about the trip and talking to my mom about it and i want to hit myself for being so pessimistic about it! its going to be incredible! my dad got a limo to come to our house and bring us to the airport! haha! (he did this because its cheaper then parking our car at the airport for 3 weeks.)
our first flight is from here to stuttgard, germany on one of those huuuge planes. the flight is from 5:30pm to 9:00am (time change is in there somehow). we then get on a plane from germany to florence. we have to jump on a train and ride it to rome and then check into our hotel there. the hotel is down the street from vatican city and practically in the middle of rome with everything within walking distance. we will be hardcore sight seeing for a week and wining and dining!
we then get on the train again and take it to florence, where we meet up with the person who will drive us out to tuscany to stay in the villa with my uncle david, aunt yansi, cousin janan, uncle scott, aunt kim, cousin maria, and cousin franco. all of my cousins are under 8 years old... but they are the funniest cutest things ever and i cant wait to spend 2 weeks with them! we never get to see our family because they live in new jersey/new york.
so this villa, my uncles paid for the whole thing. its gorgeous and is owned by a famous singer (i forget his name). we will have a famous chef cooking all our meals, a butler, and a maid. haha we are never going to want to come home!
so while in tuscany we will be taking day trips to see the leaning tower of piza and other 'must sees'. we are also signed up for a day of wine and cheese tasting!
its going to be amazing! i really cannot wait and yet im absolutely terrified!!
i know the basic italian phrases, and im still learning some more.
im gunna be having withdrawl syndromes from not having the internet for so long... hopefully my brother will find somewhere to hook his laptop up to the internet so i can share little tidbits and pictures with you all!
