Glitch had never felt so cherished in his life as he did in that moment when Wyatt, with hands that only shook enough for Glitch to notice but no one else, slipped the silver wedding band onto his first finger. It matched the one Glitch had already placed on Wyatt.

Their wedding, five months after Jeb and Raw’s small, intimate union, was a much more festive event. They had little say in the matter, as Glitch was a member of the court and a long-time friend of the royal family. DG and Azkadellia had taken the invitation to plan the entire thing as a personal challenge and the result was actually more subtle and cordial than Wyatt had expected of the young women.

As soon as Wyatt cupped Glitch’s jaw with one hand and leaned in to kiss him, Glitch knew he had missed the last part of the ceremony but couldn’t bring himself to care. Wyatt’s eyes sparked with amusement at Glitch’s surprise and he knew he had been caught daydreaming.

“Come on, sweetheart,” Wyatt smiled proudly, his eyes bright as he took his husband’s hand. “Smile and wave until you get to the door. Then you can have cake.”

“Oh, that sounds wonderful,” Glitch bounced on his toes and together with Wyatt, made his way down the walkway between the gathered attendees. He was grateful to DG for fixing his hair to mostly cover the zipper. Though he wasn’t ashamed of it but rather wore it as one of the many scars he had collected during the war, he preferred not to have it distract people from the celebratory atmosphere of the day.

Glitch was the first one to receive the massive, elated hugs from both Jeb and Raw, bare minutes after they arrived in the reception hall. “Congratulations, Glitch,” Jeb said warmly, giving one last, tight squeeze before turning his attention to Wyatt.

Chuckling at Jeb’s youthful energy, Glitch watched with amused delight as the father and son hugged for a long moment. Raw caught his attention and Glitch grinned at the Viewer, who pressed his forehead to Glitch’s in the familiar, loving way he had. “Family.”

“I suppose we are now, officially, aren’t we?” Glitch replied. “Isn’t that just something?”

“Yeah,” Raw agreed, straightening up again.

A flurry of movement out of the corner of Glitch’s eye announced the arrival of DG, who latched onto him in a jumble of arms and legs, nearly sending them to the floor. Laughing at her excitement, Glitch pulled her close and swung her around with her legs off the ground. “Why, DG, you might make a person think you’re happy about something!”

DG snickered, giving his arm a light punch as he lowered her back to the floor. “I’ve been waiting for the two of you to get married for almost an annual and a half! I have every right to be happy that it’s finally done.”

“Well, we wanted to wait until after Jeb and Raw had theirs,” Glitch looked over at his family, Raw having joined the Cains. “Since they did technically get engaged first.”

“By a few hours, I was told,” DG teased him lightly, but her smile gave away how much she was truly thrilled for the new married couple. “You guys look so good together, you know that?”

Glitch blushed, his smile hidden as he ducked his head. “You’re just saying that,” he tried to brush off the kind words but instead received a kiss on the cheek.

“Have you decided yet if you’re going to keep going by your name, or start using ‘Ambrose’ again?” DG asked. “I noticed you had them use ‘Ambrose’ in the ceremony.”

Shrugging helplessly, Glitch turned his gaze to Wyatt. “With Raw’s help, I’m mostly back to myself these days,” he answered honestly. “I suppose I could try it out, get used to using my real name again.”

“But I can still call you Glitch, right?”

“Of course, doll,” Glitch smiled affectionately. He gave her a one-armed hug and headed over to where Wyatt was waiting patiently next to Jeb and Raw. Giving Wyatt a brief and tender kiss, he looked around at where they were standing. “Oh! Cake!”

Jeb reached for Raw’s hand as they stood by and watched with enjoyment as Glitch and Wyatt covered each other in cake and frosting. Raw was laughing at them and Jeb was only mildly embarrassed that it was his father acting like a child.

A while later he watched as Wyatt and Glitch shared their first dance as a married couple, still awed by the grace and elegance that Glitch had when he moved to the music. When the song changed and other couples were invited onto the floor to join in, it was Raw who took Jeb’s hand in his own and led him to an open space.

Swaying with the tempo and letting the warm familiarity of Raw’s touch surround him, Jeb laid his head against his mate’s shoulder and watched through half-lidded eyes as his father held Glitch nearby. Their eyes met and they shared a smile.

Jeb sniffed, bringing a hand up to rub his eye. He felt Raw’s question in the way he stiffened slightly. Lifting his head, he just shrugged. “Allergies. Must be that season.”

“Must be,” Raw’s fingers brushed over Jeb’s temple, pushing back the blond curls. He leaned in to plant a kiss on Jeb’s forehead, right between his eyes. Jeb raised his chin automatically, accepting the kiss that he knew would come next.
