Cain's search for Glitch ended in the palace kitchen. He was greeted by an overzealous Glitch, face streaked with white powder, grinning at him. "DG is teaching me how to cook!" His usual jacket and vest were missing and the sleeves of both his white dress shirt and striped undershirt were pushed up past his elbows

The first time Cain had seen Glitch without his ubiquitous layers of shirts he had noticed a long-healed, jagged scar cutting down the back of Glitch's right shoulder, just over the bone. At the time he hadn't bothered to ask. He knew that Glitch would likely not remember where it had come from

After Glitch was returned to the Central palace twice by policemen who found him wandering the streets of the city, it was decided that the best thing for the time being was to have him stay in the Northern Palace until the doctors could figure out how to return his brain to him

Oh! That was absolutely lovely! Glitch telling the name of the flower in a moment of remembering and Cain seeing the parallel in a moment of poetic understanding. Thank you for writing this for me, what a beautiful moment you drew. Iris will always make me think of Glitch now, pretty but strong.

Cain had noticed little things about Ambrose when he got his brain back. He especially noticed what hadn't changed in the man. The glitches were mostly gone and he spoke in a more restrained fashion, but almost everything else about Glitch was still there. Including the endearing and almost oddly graceful clumsiness
