Vegas part two... the concert

The venue at the Aladdin is the best I have ever been to. The stage is only so high and the seats are so close to the venue that you are literally within inches of your idol. It was sooo great. I wasn’t sure where our seats were exactly. I knew the seats I had gotten for Kyle and Susie were going to be in the middle almost and I was almost jealous, but que sera, sera. Our seats were on the very end. The exact end of the row. So, when I stood, I was front row. Yeah, it was that good. There was a front row and there were some people that would sit their butts on the stage while their friends took their pictures, we could have done that too. The seats curved around in a semi-circle and I was right smack in front of Steve. Delicious, delicious, delicious. My husband is so sweet. He is so secure in our relationship that when he sees me getting a little sweaty over Steve, he just laughs. The concert itself was amazing. Steve messed up several times and they laughed together over their mistakes. I love it when they are so human. Ed broke a string on his guitar (he has been doing that a lot lately) and since he didn’t have anything to play during Alcohol, he did a lot of break dancing moves. It was so funny. He was doing that jerky moving dance called the Robot and then he got down on his belly and did that thing where you move forward by rolling your body from your knees to your shoulders… ick. (but cute on him) and then he found a tambourine by the drums and started playing that. Luckily, his tech got a guitar for him and he could be “Ed” again. Steve gave him a lot of grief for the break dancing stuff. They played a lot of my favorites. Sound of your Voice, Maybe Not, Call and Answer. It was amazing. Cynical threw a monkey up on stage during IIHAMD and Steve stuck it down the front of his pants and then unzipped his zipper and pulled a money leg out that was bouncing around as he would walk. The monkey leg was brown with a beige “foot” on it at the end. OMG. I thought I was going to die. Kent and Kurt were both like…. “So what would you do for that monkey now…. I said, You don’t want to know!” It was hilarious. So damn funny. When the show was over (with Alcohol as the last encore) we talked about going to find the guys but we were starving and wanted to spend time with our friends. I don’t know that Kyle really “got” why we were so in love with BNL, but I think Susie did. It’s amazing what the guys can do to the ladies. Here are some images from Vegas:

Don’t ask what I could do with those lips… just do not ask.

Well, while the concert was great, it was so much fun getting to know Kyle and Susie better. On Friday, we spent some time on that end of the strip, gambled and just generally had fun. We ended up having dinner at 2am and went back to the room. There’s more in this little saga, maybe tomorrow…
