theres a time in everyones life, where upon their struggling journey in this world that they peer over their shoulder and glance upon the past as a reminder of what has been done, and what was accomplished. whether its jagged cascading mountains, or blistering hot deserts or infinite azure oceans, the journey may have seemed treacherous or even a mild frolic through a dewy meadow. one must take that quick rest from time to time in order to draw strength or gather bearings to calculate the next leg of the journey.
journeys traditionally start after particular milestones of some sort. for some its as far as memory will allow. for others it may happen after particular mental/emotional pivotal moments. some moments may include beginnings of friendship at an early age or transitions from childhood to the teenage years. journeys arent easy, theyre never easy. people or things or even the elements make the journey "interesting." of course there are also moments of joy and sheer bliss that cannot be compared to anything experienced in this or any known world. such moments may include self discoveries, or physical/mental pre-set goals, or any other side quests as it were that come along the way.
alliances and rivals eminate during ones quest(s). some are by chance, and others are at the perfect time or even at the worst possible circumstance. who knows when one will meet a good friend, a nemesis(of any magnitude) or perhaps a "soulmate" as it were. some friends come and go, others will stay by your side to the bitter end. some lovers can whisk you away to paradise or be a chance meeting thay may last an evening or two....
knowledge/experience is probably one of the most important tools. its all in who/what/why you know. knowledge of ppl or things, or possible calculated scenarios. what if this, or what if that, anythings possible in this world...."anything." may i suggest you look over your shoulder when you say such a foreshadowing phrase.....
as in all cycles of life, at some point in time this and all journeys will come to an end. some will be peaceful, and unfortunately others will be at the other end of the spectrum. no one knows when our journey/life ends, id rather not know, just so itll feel like a surprise :) i like surprises.
you dont endure life, you live life. you endure the tasks. you endure the hardships. you cherish the moments of bliss. you tread cautiously in tense situations, being very careful of saying or doing the right thing. you respect the precious and loving moments. you
be good
be fast
be smart
be strong when you have to
be weak when you want to
live with no regrets
walk when you wanna walk, and strut when you wanna strut.
there might be moments of peril, where you dont know if youll make it. the thunder will be crackling all around you, and the turbulant rain and winds will be crashing upon you, and youll be cold to the bone, alone, in the dark, the silence will be broken with howling winds. moments of doubt will overcome your calculating mind. possible scenario alterations and outcomes will plow their way through your mind. you are permitted to doubt(ppl, things, circumstances) but never doubt yourself or your abilities.
if, heaven forbid, you dont make it just say "i did all i could, i gave it 100% i fought till i couldnt fight no more. i dug deep into my heart. my body may have quit, but my spirit didnt. no one can take that away from me"
on an encouraging note, you will never be alone. the world itself may feel like its against you, but i will stay by your side to the very end. i will be proud of you, i will never stop caring. i will always listen. ill guard you with my life. ill ensure your safety. ill cheer you up. ill calm you down. ill wipe your tears. ill make a googly face and make you laugh.
k, if i thinka more, ill add more later
