mokucon, munchkin quest
It's a strange thing, typing up updates from the bus. My laptop's power is unsurpassable, hahaha! Today is looking to be a great day, fo realz. The fix on my sleeping problems continue to look positive, as I woke up at 11 today with no complaints. Went to get breakfast, now I'm on my way to College Ave, it's beautiful out, yay~
What's been going on with everybody? I'm so excited about Thanksgiving, because aside from the wondeful, home-cooked meal, it means I get to see all of your lovely faces! I miss everyone like balls (weird phrase but it sounds a'ight in person, lol). There's also been somewhat of an ease in classwork, as we prepare/start art finals. Even those are looking to be really fun, and I can't wait to start working more on them! Especially for drawing, ohhh man. JD gabe me a special project just because he really wanted to see me do it. It's pretty epic, and I will tell you that it involves a ten foot piece of paper...
AJES' anime convention, Mokucon, is today, and I'm going to hit that up after Seminar with a bunch of people. Hopefully it's not extremely lame, and I can buy some cheap manga or something. Oh and Peelander-Z! Nothing with them can be lame, hahaha! I'm actually amazed that they're on the guest list, since I've heard of them... Oh well, here's to hoping for something awesome.
Adventures! Yesterday, Dan and I went to the local comic/game store, The Fallout Shelter's, release event for the board game Munchkin Quest! If you've ever played the card game Munchkin by Steve Jackson, then you know how exciting that is. XD There was a Steve Jackson Games rep, decked out with an MQ shirt and knowledge of the rules, guiding us through a demo game, which lasted roughly two hours. It was really fun, and we got promo cards for the Munchkin card game as prizes for playing! Cool, cool. That's all for now, I'm about to go hit up that convention I was talking about! There's a Rock Band tournament, and Smash Brothers Brawl... don't think I'll enter either, but it's cool that there's gaming and vendors and stuff. I saw a really good cosplayer, AJES member! Kinda surprised me! Wooo, yep, all set. TTYL!
