I also just discovered an Ave Maria by Schubert that can easily be simplified and learned in time, and Faures Apres un Reve, which is beautiful. But one week isn't a good time to learn music. I hope i have enough material. I hope the room is warm enough and that my back cooperates and, generally, that I don't suck.
Yes, it's culled from as far back as the 6th grade. No, I'm not sorry. And no, I'm not even going to deal with the Clarke, or the Hindemith, or the Boccherini, or any of those. I shall be tired enough by the end of the four hour engagement as it is.
