Yes, yes. It's true. I did update a few days ago :-) Thanks for your text. I am sorry we never got to hang out when you were down here a few weeks back. It was a really busy time for me. Anyway, for the rest of you, things are going well here. I just have a crazy work life. The principal has been in to observe my class about once a week for the past 3 weeks, for various reasons. Nothing "formal", in fact I am supposed to consider it a compliment, as she brings all the new teachers by to see how I "manage" my classroom. Which, by the way, I don't manage them. They manage themselves. I just treat them like normal people and they respect me. Anyway, so, now I have a formal observation next week and I'm sorta stressin' about that, for no reason. But, whatever. It's a legal thing. All teachers have to have a certain number of "formal" observations by a certain date in the school year. Blah. Just means having all my lesson plans in order, etc. etc. Well, anyway, I'm going to cut this one short before I bore all of you to death :-P In the random news department - I heard an interview on the radio this morning with the music group "Hansen" Hmmmm.... Bop! Um, yeah. Who knew they were still around!?!?! :-P
