A Turn Of Tides
A long week has just passed by and this is my first entry for august....
Had graduation ceremony on tue and it was real early. Didn't really expect much from it though i saw some of my friends. Most of them were like already enlisted in the army. Hmm..... a waste of time sitting there during the whole 2 hours and even had to collect the diplomas after the presentation cause all we got during the presentation was just only a folder with nothing in it.
Wanted to join my friends for lunch at Bugis but couldn't really make it as Zul and Amos were going to come to my house later in the afternoon to have a guitar fellowship.
Enjoyed the guitar fellowship though it was a bit short. 3 of us tried to play different styles though it didn't came out well. Hope can do more of that next time.
NAPFA was really a time of testing for me as it was my 3rd time trying to get a silver award for it so that i can skip ptp and delay my enlistment date for at least 2 months. Pull ups again was the hard part though the tester was really strict. No kicking, arms must be straightened before going up and whatever.... Think i heard more of what the tester said rather then the pull ups that i did.
In the end managed only 3 and that was the first station, which meant that i could pack up and leave. Arghh wished that i had been taken by the other tester which was more lenient and i think he had one eye closed. Hung around at Toa Payoh for a short while before going home.
Got a ear-bashing from my mom for not training hard enough and that really made my day worse.
But thankfully yesterday was much better. Helped carried a fridge from Bishan to Yishun with Zul and Amos. Had a minor accident along the way along the road though it wasn't fatal or whatever. Had DG after that at Novena Square and went to Genie to play WC3 which was entertaining though both me and Amos weren't skilled enought to defeat Zul hah...
