So.. I have to do a journal and review of an artcle for my society, earth, and environment class..
After I had read an article in 2005's Making Waves volume 21(4) about the Toll Road that might be built through San Onofre State Park (thus damaging Trestles, the legendary surf break, as well as natural habitat that is home to numerous species on the endangered list), I decided to do a search on other articles done on this topic.
Well, I found this @ http://nctimes.com/articles/2006/01/05/news/coastal/oceanside/21_29_061_4_06.txt and I found it satisfactory until I read the comments that people had left at the bottom of the article. I was shocked to read some of the shit that people wrote. Every comment was against Oceanside's decision to oppose to toll road and side with Orange County and San O, etc. The comment that really got to me was "When faced with a stark choice between our transportation system needs and the environment, the needs of man should trump nature. Nature exists to serve man. Man does not exist to serve nature." Are you fucking kidding me??

Sometimes I really wished that I didn't live in the USA... China would be nice. I'd love to get away from this self-centered society. Everything must cater to the individual.

I'm not a happy camper. I haven't talked to him in nearly ten days. I miss him so much.
