I wish I could tell you...
... but you'd never understand.
What life has always been will never be the same again. It's a feeling of total letdown, complete hopelessness. It's over now. And nobody even knows. Selfishness is a destroyer. Fight it, because it feels good to get what you want, but you have no idea how it makes everyone else feel. Someone I trusted the most has finally let me down. Or maybe they've been letting me down all along, and I finally let go of them. Either way, it's the most liberating, and equally painful thing to feel. It's bittersweet.
On a lighter note...
Have you ever looked at innocence painted on someone's face? It's amazing. So few have that gift. I think God has portioned out a super small handful of the world to remind us what it means to be pure. When you look that in the face, it's breathtaking.
