(no subject)
Woohoo I finally got over to my grandparents so I could say HOWDY to all of ya. Hope you guys are doing GREAT! :-) It was so fun hanging out with some of you at Typhoon yesterday. That place is just WHOA fun! And I can't believe I actually got my butt out there and (attempted) to surf. That was a blast. And I was so tired and acted so stupid at Steak N Shake. One of the rare times when Raina's wins me over. Hmph!
I'm really excited about life. It's just so fun to be alive, to be in God's grace, and getting to know Him more and more. God has really been teaching me how to let objective truth rule over me when I am tempted to let subjective emotions grab hold of me. Even though school isn't going wonderfully right now, even though I'm scared and not ready for the (very near) future, even though many things aren't going ideally, even though I'm a wretched sinner... I am saved by God's grace, and only by His grace do I live in His grace everyday. God is AMAZING. I am learning, like Paul was, to be content no matter what the circumstances.
