I got the cd:) actually, I was given the cd by one of the best friends anyone could have and it ROCKS. yay! Im kind of baffled by some of the lyrics bc they're a little weird- i dont really understand some of the things he wants to say but I love the songs anyways. I guess I just don't understand a lot of things. :)

And you know, I was faced with that battle this week. You can't possibly please everyone and someone brought junk to my attention that really hurt my feelings bc I am a people pleaser when it comes to most people. Maybe not ppl my age bc well I could careless about what my peers think and I completely understand how you feel. And don't feel like everyone is displeased bc WHO ARE THEY? They're nothing but vapors compared to HIM and HE is the one who's lookin down and saying, "aw, look at my Lynzie. She is so cute and I just love her." so PA-LEASE. People need to look at the things in themselves that are displeasing before they start telling us what they think. And I think we should all try thinking that way and it's a battle bc I am sure that we all do it to others too. anyways, there may be some who don't see all of the pleasing things about you but there are tons of others who do see it. I promise.

Funny bc I just had a conversation with my youth pastor's wife about this. and I was the one in your shoes and she was telling me things like I'm telling you;) Funny how things work out!

colleen, you are such a great friend. sometimes it's so good just to know you're not the only person who feels a certain way or deals with certain things. ya know? i'm a people-pleaser too, and i think that's why i struggle so much when people are anything less than overflowing with happiness. but thank you so much for taking the time to write all that out, it was very much encouraging!

Wow, thanks Keith. It means a million. Like I said before, just when you think you're so screwed up that there's no hope for you... that comes along! And I know it's nothing in me, but it's the One who lives in me. Such amazing grace...
