seven weeks since the last post...not too bad I guess
Okay, so let's see...the triathlon went well, I finished in just over 2hrs and 39minutes. It was .5mi swim just over a 5k run then in the neighborhood of 22 miles on bike. It was a lot of fun. We all had a blast, one of my friends actually finished top three for guys. Yeah, I was jealous. So that takes care of where the last post left off.
What else is going on? Let's see let's see...
I'm realizing dating younger is not a bad thing at all. In fact, happy is a good thing, imagine that.
Pretty big promotion offically beginning the first of Sept. Some nice benefits and a pretty good pay hike just a couple of the highlights of the promotion.

One of my bestfriends is going to have a baby for my birthday, okay okay a couple weeks after probably, and I've already been named godmother/aunt. Normally not a huge baby person, even my friends kids but for some reason I am REALLY excited for this little one. The only other I really enjoy is my nephew, who will be one next month.
Jack (the nephew) has his birthday party right when my brother comes home on leave, hopefully the timing will work out so Peter can be there, because 2-5 is the family party, 6- whenever is the grownup party because jack's daddy, my step brother in law...we just call him dan to his face... will be on leave until the 25th, so we'll get a couple days where ALL of us can get together while boy the boys are home. Jenna (the step sister) and I already have some pretty good plans cooking. Peter and Dan home plus Kirsten won't head back to campus until 5. sept...so we're ALL going to be able to get together, I can't remember the last time that happened. I also can't remember the last time I was so excited about something like that. Wow, I'm getting mushy in my old age.
I'll be going to seattle in january, mostly to visit friends but also, secretly, to be checking out jobs and houses. I am in no way sure if thats what I want to do, but I'm going to take a couple days of the trip to investigate.
Hmmm...prague is off for the summer due to schedule issues but I'm going bungee jumping instead, well not instead because hey..one does not replace the other, but it was second on my list. Can't be any worse than skydiving, right?
I can't think of anything else to add...ask me if I forgot something. Heh, I'm going to go watch marx brother movies now.
