(no subject)
OOOO today was SOOO good! I was exhausted by the end but it was SOOOO GOOD!
KATIE WAS BRILLIANT AS ALWAYS!!! My entire math class shrieked and hollered at her when she got on stage and when she came off again :-D it was so much fun!!!! Jazz chorus was surprisingly good except for the little blurp at the beginning. And Ari did a really good job...I think Katie and Ari should play at graduation...they'd make everyone cry....or laugh and either one would be a good thing!
2nd period people were also really good although I don't remember them as well...oh that supposedly obnoxious kid who is ridiculously good at piano (his hands moved so quickly that I couldn't see them!)
AND THEN WE WERE WONDERFUL! I was soooo proud of everyone!!! Torrey sounded magnificent on her solo--it was almost a shame we didn't get it on a recording! It was the first time where I felt like Birdy and I were completely on with the Laudamus which was so wonderful...it was amazing to stand up there and for the first time feel like I had the most powerful voice in the world--such an empowering feeling!!!! And GOOD LORD THE BOYS WERE GOOD!!! Hahahaha they hammed it up so well and it took the audience a couple minutes to figure out what was going on and then they figured it out and couldn't stop laughing it was MAGNIFICENT!!! WOOT!!!
Then I came home and took a nap then went out and ran and went to the gym--lots and lots of situps--I'm gonna hopefully be sore tomorrow....
I heard from Molly too--she misses you all and she thinks we should get together for some sort of grand bruhaha when she gets back...and I totally think so too :-D so we'll have to figure that out...we have time though so....
