Thank you for this informative post. I've been in a grouchy mood all day as I noticed the various news sites declare Yes on 8 the winner. This post is like a balm to my trampled heart, even though I am very afraid that even with all the provisional/absentee ballots counted, the result might not change.

(By the way, I called 1-​​800-​​345-​​VOTE but can't navigate the phone system to where I can leave a recording. Any suggestions?)

That is my fear too, but I want them counted because otherwise I have to storm the capital and that takes far more planning. I was crushed too, but this gives me a little hope to go with the mass amounts of determination I already had.
