This week was the best exsperience i've had.I wasn't shy getting to know people, and made a ton of friends. Plus I didn't have to worry about being myself I just was and people liked me for it. It was a real eye opener on how people live and how just putting a fense up and new doors could make them feel safe enough to sleep at night. That feeling you get after helping someone with nothing is so great. The work may not have been fun at all times but the people you were doing it with made it great. Plus its so great to see how thankful these people are after you help them. The hug z gave me at the end it ment something..it wasn't just saying thanks it was saying she loved you for it were like her childern now after only 5 days, something like that is really special...also you get so close to the people your with and learn to open up..I don't think in anyother situation I would have been able to open up to a person after 4 days. I went there thinking I was going to help someone.But I never thought yes would end up helping me.
