Too slack
I've been too slack to update this lj. In two days I'll be on my way to DC to participate in the Million Workers March.
This week has been the slackest week of my semester. I didn't even go to climate this week at all since my professor's out. I can't wait until haloween to get drunk. For once I'm ready to get drunk and forget all my troubles, but it ain't the time yet. I'm looking forward to terrorizing Franklin street with the bagwell crew.
October has to be one of the best months of the year. The weather is just beautiful. Yesterday as that first big storm came thru, i went running with jeki and after we finished our run, we headed over to clark. Then we saw an awesome sight we never really get to appreciate enough. We could see the backside of the towering cumulonimbus capillatus clouds moving away from raleigh to the NE. The falling sun gave it a red tint for a while before the last of the sun's rays went under the horizon. I had to take pictures of something so powerful, watching the big updraft change the shape of the tower. It was also accompanied by cloud to cloud lightning.
Wow, i have really neglected this entry. I'm just going to give up and roll out with El Jefe to have some more philosophical conversations with alcoholics.
