The Day That Begins The Voyage
Liz came to town yesterday for everything. We've had fun. We went to visit my dad and get some bedding. My dad quickly learned what he has to put up with now that mom's not around to gossip with anymore. Ha HA :) Then Missy, Beth, Liz, and I headed out to Applebee's to torment our waiter. Then Nick joined us. As we were eating I caught glimpse of an old man. As I stared I realized, that yes indeed, it was my manager Keith from Acme. It was weird, as we were leaving I went to their table and he stood up and gave me a big hug. I said, "It's weird for you to give me a hug." I think it just came out wrong. I meant it just because him and I always fight. But we talked for a bit and then we left. We headed to Giant Eagle to get stuff and this cop followed my car and kept circling it in the parking lot. I hope he doesn't send me a ticket in the mail for rolling a stop sign. Oh well.
Tonight there are the calling hours so far I've heard through the grapevine that a lot more people than expected are coming. It's really a heartwarming thing when everyone comes out and shows their love. :)
